After early breakfast, we will explore the Dades Gorge, before we drive back to the road of a thousand Kasbahs.  We will pass through the village of Tineghier with its Jewish Quarter, to reach the Todra for a stop.   While here, we will enjoy a walking tour as we discover the beauty of this region.  We continue our drive to Merzouga via Rissani and Erfoud.  Arriving at the gates to the Sahara desert, we will exchange our wheels for camels as we trek into the dunes to reach the foot of Erg Chebbi.  Here we will spend the night in the Sahara Luxury camps.  This evening we will enjoy a traditional dinner and a Berber drum party.  Take some time to enjoy some star-gazing before heading off to bed in your private tent.

Awake at dawn to see the sunrise as it dances across the top of the dunes.  After breakfast, we’ll depart for Rissani, the old Sijilmassa or economic capital of Morocco where caravans used to deliver all sorts of merchandise from all over Morocco.  After some traditional Moroccan tea, we head back to the city of Ouarzazate, the Kasbah Taouirt and to Atlas Studios – one of Africa’s most well-known studios.  Time permitting, we will visit the studios.  From there, we will head to the oasis of Fint. Finally, we begin our journey back to Marrakech where we will take you to your selected location.
